Graphic art, my aims
Since the human eye almost always first perceives the colour before it recognizes the shape, colour often masks the actual development of shape.
If it is important to me to reduce things to their form, I create pictures in black, white and gray, not to express a dim mood, but in order to highlight structures and reduce the depth of space. Positive and negative forms interact. The line is gaining weight.
I am also interested in comparing similar motifs to find out to what extent the gray-toned version is meaningful.
In this process, I noticed that light is often more effective in the gray tone range than in coloured representations.
